What information do I collect?
I collect information from you when you register on my site, place an order or fill out a form.
When ordering or registering on my site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, phone number, or credit card information. You may, however, visit my site anonymously. It’s open to the public.
What do I use your information for?
Any of the information I collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To send you emails with articles and/or links to information related to finance and investing. I never send ads or other spam, however, and you can unsubscribe from the email list at any time.
- To personalize your experience by addressing you by name in emails, for example.
- To process subscription payments for The Kelly Letter.
I never share your information with other parties. If you ever get spam from my domain, it was phished, not sent by me. Try as I might, I can’t seem to stop the bastards.
How do I protect your information?
I offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into my payment gateway provider’s database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, who are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit card data) is not stored on my leased server.
I have a Web Server Certificate verified secure by GoDaddy.com, which you can see here.
Do I use cookies?
No.
Do I disclose any information to outside parties?
Only to payment processors when you sign up for The Kelly Letter. I’ve used Amazon Payments and PayPal, and now use my own processing via a gateway to a merchant account. It’s all secure per the above, but your details do need to get passed along in order for payments to be processed.
