On The Wall Street Shuffle

I joined Dan Cofall on The Wall Street Shuffle this evening. We discussed ways non-financial people should manage their investments, with me pushing my 3 pct quarterly value-averaging plan.

We talked about Japan, what’s going on with the currency, and Kyle Bass’s idea that the country’s economy will collapse in 18-24 months. Dan wanted to know what sector I thought would be challenged in the coming two years. I thought a moment and decided on Defense, because there’s a strong consensus that government spending in that area needs to be cut as the wars of the past 10 years look ready to wind down.
