On The Wall Street Shuffle

I joined Dan Cofall on The Wall Street Shuffle this evening. We discussed ways non-financial people should manage their investments, with me pushing my 3 pct quarterly value-averaging plan.

We talked about Japan, what’s going on with the currency, and Kyle Bass’s idea that the country’s economy will collapse in 18-24 months. Dan wanted to know what sector I thought would be challenged in the coming two years. I thought a moment and decided on Defense, because there’s a strong consensus that government spending in that area needs to be cut as the wars of the past 10 years look ready to wind down.

Thank you for the work you do. You're a household name here and my wife and I often discuss your letters on Sundays. My ten- and seven-year-old children recognize your name and will eventually be taught to invest using 3Sig and 6Sig.
